Secure all liquor bottles (lock cabinets, speed racks, or move to secure storage)
Secure all beer taps and any open bottles/cans
Cover or refrigerate any open wine bottles
Ensure all non-alcoholic beverages are stored properly
Garnishes & Perishables
Discard any used or perishable garnishes
Cover and refrigerate any remaining usable garnishes
Store any perishable bar snacks appropriately
Ice & Waste
Empty and clean the ice well(s)
Take out all trash and recycling from the bar area
Replace trash liners
Cash & POS
Run end-of-day reports from the POS system
Count and reconcile the cash drawer(s)
Prepare the cash deposit according to protocol
Secure the cash drawer(s) or deposit in the designated area
Log any discrepancies in the cash count
General Cleaning
Wipe down any spills on the floor behind the bar
Ensure bar mats are cleaned or hung up to dry
Turn off any unnecessary lights behind the bar
Final Checks
Ensure all taps are turned off properly
Double-check that all doors and storage areas are locked
Report any issues or low stock to the manager
